We started selling OBUT pétanque boules by mail order in the Americas in 1991. At that time, the only way to get boules was to carry them in your suitcase, from France ...
In 1998 we were the first, (in the world!), to sell boules online.
Our goal was to make pétanque as popular here as it is in so many other countries, one player at a time. A tremendous amount of time is being spent on promotion, education, and showing folks how much fun we have playing the game.
The huge success of the annual international Open tournament in Amelia Island, Florida, is a precious confirmation that it has been worth it.
